A week after teammate Grace Claxton ran on Puerto Rico's women's 4x400-meter relay team at the Pan American Games in Toronto, rising sophomore Tyler Ranke took to the track at the Pan American Junior Games in Edmonton for his signature event, the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase. Ranke, competing for Team USA, placed third overall in a field of 11 competitors, finishing with a time of 9:16.44.
